Derby spoils for United

Last Saturday's round of Division 6 Collegiate Soccer League matches featured a local Hills derby between Mt Barker United and Hahndorf.

Barker United travelled to Pine Avenue to meet the hosting Magpies, with a tight contest unfolding.

Both teams offered numerous scoring chances, but the respective defences held firm at each end, with the only goal of the match coming from a handball penalty.

Ultimately Mt Barker United returned home with hard-earned 1-0 victory.
