THE revelation that Scott Morrison secretly appointed himself to five senior ministries is one of the most extraordinary actions by a Prime Minister in the history of the Australian Federal Government.
His hour-long, wide-eyed, unblinking explanation to journalists failed to provide a compelling justification for his actions and secrecy.
Regardless of what Scott Morrison’s plans really were, he should be thankful that the majority of Australians voted his Government out at the May Federal Election, all in accordance with the orderly requirements of our Westminster System of government.
In many other countries in the world governed by gangsters and chancers he would probably have suffered an entirely different fate.
