DEAR Woolworths, As it is impossible to activate your “Contact Us” link to tell you what I think, I will tell the world at large via this awesome local paper.

Your oranges packaging is despicable and needs to be replaced by something biodegradable.

Currently it consists of that fine orange colored plastic mesh, (to make the oranges look more orange) which is then covered with a full size nasty crinkly coloured plastic label.

How can a company, “The fresh food people”, justify generating such a source of pollution?

Who knows how to recycle such plastics?

And who can trust the recycling anyway?

It’s better not to accept products from suppliers if they generate this amount of plastic waste.
