ONCE again we are facing blackouts across the nation, due mostly to the fact our coal fired generators are ‘offline’ for maintenance. How about a state-of-the-art generator that does not stop working when getting serviced?

It’s called a nuclear pebble reactor and it cannot go into meltdown, does not produce weapons-grade fissionable isotopes, does not use water as a coolant, instead an inert gas that cannot pick up radioactive elements, zero greenhouse emissions, it does produce gigawatts of electricity! It’s not cheap to build, but ensures Australians have a stable, safe supply of power.

Come on, State and Federal Governments get building for our future!
