Symons started on a perfect three of three for six opening quarter points, as the former Diamond Valley Eagles NBL1 South player showed his potency inside the paint. The Maverick's women's team a went down to the Tigers 75-73 in a thriller, with the game marking a refereeing milestone with Andrew Just reaching his 450th match for officiating in a presentation made just before play.
