Regional cricket award winners were celebrated last month and Langhorne Creek all-rounder Adam Clements won the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association A-grade Shaun Tait ‘Cricketer of the Year award’.Returning to the Creek after a stint at Kensington, Clements finished the count with 20 votes, just two ahead of Woodside’s David Wescombe and Hahndorf’s Paul Allegretto.“It’s an honor to win it and other than winning a premiership it is the best personal award you could win in the association, so it feels pretty good and hard work pays off,” said Clements.
