A local animal rescuer has welcomed a new State Government initiative that will funnel funding from new ‘koala State’ number plates to wildlife rescue organisations.
The new ‘koala State’ license plates were made available on Monday and will cost motorists $151, which includes $50 that will go towards animal welfare in SA.
