It started as a hobby nearly half-a-century ago, but last month Heathfield pilot Dr Owen Crees helped make Angel Flight history.
With 318 charity flights under his belt, Dr Crees, 71, undertook one of the not-for-profit services’ longest flights – 3,100kms.
His flight helped break an Angel Flight record of the most collective kilometers flown across Australia in a 24 hour period.
