The director of the local regional development board says the State Government needs to consider “bold and ambitious” measures in the Hills, such as passenger rail or an O-Bahn-style busway, with data revealing that SA spends a fraction of what other states spend on regional public transport.

As part of the State Government’s Public Transport Strategy, the Department
