It’s good to see that the Adelaide Hills Council has decided to re-instate funding for the 2026 Tour Down Under (TDU) in its budget.
It’s understandable that the council is looking to employ cost-cutting measures to decrease it’s $4.86m operating deficit.
But the TDU has a long history on the Hills calendar and brings millions of dollars of economic activity to the region every year....
