A development application for a subdivision near Mt Barker which could impact 438 trees, with some at risk of being removed, is being considered by the Native Vegetation Council (NVC).
Mt Barker-based developer Springlake Communities wants to subdivide a 7.98ha parcel on Nelson Road, Wistow, into 84 allotments.
If approved, the development would be known as Springvale.
