A petition calling for the State Government to reverse a ban on trucks longer than 15 metres using Hahndorf’s main street is continuing to pick up momentum, reaching 7000 signatures.
It calls for the Government to scrap the ban and halt the diversion of trucks along River and Strathalbyn roads, which came into effect last year, and for funding to be committed for a new bypass at Hahndorf.
