Event a blooming success
More than 40 people squeezed into Chapter Two Books in Stirling to mark the international literary anniversary Bloomsday.
The event celebrates the life and works of Irish author James Joyce, particularly his novel Ulysses.
Bloomsday is named in honor of Ulysses’ lead character Leopold Bloom and is held on June 16 with readings of the famous novel.
This year’s Bloomsday in the Hills was the first organised by book store Chapter Two Books with local residents doing readings and dressing in period costume.
“It was a great night,” said Chapter Two Books owner Nick Patrick.
