Artist and teacher Ann Shegog will be covering some basic techniques in acrylics or oils at the next Artvan session at Anembo Park, Mt Barker, on Thursday, April 26.
Ann is suggesting people take along a photograph of their choice, and she will bring out interesting ways of setting up work tonally.
The next Duck Flat group (in the garden behind the Mt Barker Hospital) is on Friday, April 27.
“I will be doing a tonal scale, using exercises in mixing and doing a color chart,” Ann said.
Then on May 10 the groups will be taking a trip to McLaren Vale, incorporating a visit to the studios of Roe Gartelman and John Lacey.
John will also be running an oil painting workshop on October 25, with the theme ‘reflections’.
